Company training

At Goodvalley, we focus on developing our employees at every stage of their career. We offer management training, soft skills development, as well as programmes in lean tools and many other areas. Through these, we support both the effective running of the business and the personal development of our employees.

Language learning

We offer tuition in English, Spanish and Polish. Learning takes place either in a classroom setting or via online tools.

Private medical package

Out of concern for the health of our employees and their families, we offer the possibility of voluntary membership of a medical package. It provides quick access to consultations with specialists, diagnostic tests and rehabilitation without long waiting times. It is a convenient solution that helps take care of our health and that of our loved ones every day.

Private insurance

With the safety of our employees and their relatives in mind, we offer the possibility to voluntarily join group life insurance. Adult family members can also join the insurance. Several variants are available so that everyone can choose the scope of protection to suit their needs.

Support for education

Twice a year, our employees have the opportunity to apply for educational funding. Currently, 28 of our employees are studying at university in subjects such as animal science, property valuation, lean management or freight forwarding and logistics.

Internships and apprenticeships

Every year, students and schoolchildren can join Goodvalley as part of an internship or student placement. Each apprentice follows a programme under the guidance of an experienced mentor, who supports them in the process of gaining practical knowledge and their first work experience. This is an ideal way to encourage young people to work in our industry and share our experiences - the apprenticeship also allows us to get to know and test their potential, and pupils and students get an answer to the question of whether our company is the one they want to be associated with in the future.

What is the whole process involved in apprenticeships?

The apprenticeship programme is aimed at students and graduates of the faculties of animal science, food technology and human nutrition, food analytics, energy, construction, finance, agriculture, environmental protection and others.

The main assumptions of doing an internship:

  • duration - minimum of 1 month, based on the concluded student placement agreement, 
  • the possibility of an internship throughout the year,
  • paid practice,
  • each apprentice is assigned a mentor for the entire period of the apprenticeship
  • the trainee summary is a short presentation in which the trainee outlines what he or she has learned, talks about what was particularly memorable and can share his or her ideas for change. 

What do we look out for when accepting apprenticeship candidates? Knowledge, of course, but above all a desire for personal development and further learning.
