Frequently asked questions:

The scheme is aimed at farmers wishing to produce fattening pigs and who have licensed livestock buildings in which to rear the animals.

Get in touch with us. You can find contact details on this page.

The risks associated with price fluctuations are taken over by Goodvalley, the farmer bears no risk. We guarantee a constant supply of high-quality piglets, collection of each batch of fattening pigs at a slaughter weight of approximately 125-135 kg and a steady income throughout the contract period.

According to the regulations, it does not matter to us whether the Grower is a VAT payer or a flat-rate farmer.

The breeding is carried out in its own name by the Breeder. The breeder provides the piggery and bears the costs that go with its maintenance.

Goodvalley supplies piglets weighing approximately 30 kg, veterinary services, pelleted complete feed, transport of fattening pigs from the breeder to the Meat Plant, zootechnical support. We ensure payment of the income agreed in the contract.

We enable assistance in completing applications for welfare payments.

This is a guaranteed amount that each farmer receives. It is calculated on the basis of the number of heads and a fixed rate per fattening place and for the farmer's commitment.

All piglets supplied are born in Poland and have health status:

PRRSV negative
Mycoplasma hyopneumoniade positive
Actinobactillus pleuropnumoniade negative
All animals are vaccinated against circovirus type 2 and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniade.

Yes, the feed is supplied by an entity designated by Goodvalley. The feed is made according to Goodvalley's recipes.

Mortality up to 3%, cycle count at least 3.3, feed consumption up to 2.8. Aiming to reduce empty days increase cycle count by increasing efficiency on farm.

We assume the completion of 3.2 cycles in each year of cooperation. The period of one cycle is up to 114 days on average. Piglets weighing approximately 30 kg. We assume a feed consumption per kg of gain (FCR) of no more than 2.8 kg and allow a level of animal collapse of up to 2.5%. Veterinary service on the farm is on the Goodvalley side.

Yes. This is usually determined through individual discussions and the needs that arise during animal husbandry.

Breeding in the blue and pink zones takes place without financial loss to the breeder. The legally required additional pig tests are carried out at our expense.

Breeding can only be halted by the occurrence of an ASF outbreak on a farm. In such a case, due to the ban on treating sick animals and the lack of vaccines against ASF, the disease is only eradicated ex officio. Once its outbreak is confirmed, compensation for the slaughter value is paid by the State Treasury.
